Ooty Botanical Garden

You won’t believe that this lake is a man made wonder that was built in 1823, and is a prominent tourist attraction for ultimate fun and entertainment.

Doddabetta Peak 

If you want to get the best panoramic views of the Nilgiris hills, a trip to Doddabetta Peak is a must. It’s the highest peak of the Nilgiris, and is located around 10 km from Ooty.

St Stephen’s Church 

Dating back to the 19th century, this beautiful structure was built under the rule of the British empire in 1829. The highlights of this place are the paintings of ‘The Last Supper’, and more reflecting on the stained glass windows.

It’s one of the best places to visit in Ooty, easily accessible by road. Home to a large number of Chital and Sambar, visit this place for a change and to get away from the unnecessary noise.
