Vivo X Series Smartphone Launch Date: Exciting announcement for technology enthusiasts! Vivo, the smartphone manufacturer, unveiled the “X90” series smartphones – X90 and X90 Pro with ZEISS 1-inch Main Camera in India. According to news agency IANS, Vikas Tagra, Head of Product Management, Vivo India, expressed his commitment to continuous innovation and the delivery of top-notch mobile imaging technology to consumers during the vivo X90 series event.
Vivo ‘X90’ Series Price in India
The X90 Pro will be priced at Rs 84,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, while the X90 will be available in two variants – Rs 59,999 for the 8GB+256GB and Rs 63,999 for the 12GB+256GB. According to Vivo, the smartphones will be accessible for purchase both online and offline, starting from May 5, 2023.
Vivo ‘X90’ Series Features
The X90 Pro is available in Legendary Black color, while the X90 comes in Breeze Blue and Asteroid Black. Both models feature a 6.78-inch Ultra Vision Eye Protection display.
Both the X90 and X90 Pro are equipped with the latest generation of the vivo-ZEISS co-engineered imaging systems. They are powered by the Dual Flagship chipset, which consists of India’s first MediaTek Dimensity 9200 paired with the Pro Imaging Chip V2.A.
The vivo X90 Pro boasts a ZEISS 1-inch Main Camera, along with a 50MP Portrait lens featuring an IMX758 OIS (optical image stabilization) sensor. On the other hand, the X90 features a 50MP VCS True Color main camera with an IMX866 sensor, accompanied by a 12MP Portrait camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
The X90 houses a 4810 mAh battery, while the X90 Pro comes with a 4870 mAh battery and 50W Wireless FlashCharge support.
According to the company, the X90 series aims to set a new benchmark for premium smartphone photography and videography, catering to the varying needs of consumers, including exceptional low-light photography and videography.
Finbarr Moynihan, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at MediaTek, mentioned that the vivo X90 Series, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200, brings new possibilities for users with its flagship camera technologies, powerful video processing, superior AI motion unblur technology, and immersive all-day gaming experiences, including hardware ray tracing capabilities.
Both the X90 and X90 Pro feature a dual-chip flagship chipset and large batteries with superfast charging capabilities. The X90 Series offers two charging modes, including the Rapid mode, which can charge the smartphones to 50% in approximately 8 minutes and 100% in 27 minutes, as stated by the company.
